Ingredients
-1 pound brussels sprouts
-4 ounces diced bacon
-3/4 cup chopped Valley Grown Walnuts
-3 Tbsp olive oil
--1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp pepper
-2 Tbsp maple syrup (3 if you want a little more sweetness)
-2 garlic cloves, minced and crushed up
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 400°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
Wash your brussels sprouts, trim ends, and cut them in half. Toss them in a bowl with your bacon, olive oil, walnuts, salt and pepper. Mix the mixture together and spread on your sheet pan in a single layer.
Roast your brussels sporuts for 25-30 minutes while flipping in between until they are tender and crispy.
Romove from the oven and toss them with your maple syrup and garlic.
Place back in the oven fro 2-3 more minutes.
