6 cups sliced peaches, fresh or frozen
â…“ cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Walnut Crisp Topping
1 cup old-fashioned oats
¾ cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.

Spread the peach mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
In a separate bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
Add the cold cubed butter and use a pastry cutter, fork, or your fingertips to work it into the dry ingredients until the mixture forms coarse crumbs.
Stir in the chopped walnuts until evenly distributed.
Sprinkle the walnut crisp topping evenly over the peaches.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling around the edges.
Allow the crisp to cool for 10–15 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm on its own or topped with vanilla ice cream.
