About the Recipe

Ingredients

-1 12 oz can evaporated milk

-2 tbsp butter

-4 1/2 cups granulated sugar

-2 12 oz bags of semi-sweet chocolate chips

-1-pint marshmallow fluff

-2 tsp vanilla

-3/4 cup toasted chopped Valley Grown Walnuts




Preparation

  1. Combine evaporated milk, butter, and sugar in a medium saucepan. Melt ingredients and bring to a boil for 6-7 minutes.

  2. Pour chocolate chips, marshmallow fluff, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Gradually pour over your hot syrup over the mixture and stir together until it melts and is mixed.

  4. Fold in your toasted chopped walnuts. (note: toast the walnuts on a baking sheet at 350°F for about 5 minutes).

  5. Take a 9x13 baking dish and smear soft butter along the bottom and sides of the pan to keep fudge from sticking.

  6. Pour the fudge mixture into the pan and spread evenly with a spatula. Let the fudge cool before cutting with a sharp knife. Store fudge in the fridge or freezer and ENJOY!
